Doxie Go + Wi-Fi bundle available

Apparent adds Wi-Fi to Doxie at Macworld | iWorld 2012. The Doxie Go document scanner now scans anywhere and syncs scans wirelessly to Mac, PC, iOS, and the cloud.

Apparent unveiled Doxie Go + Wi-Fi, a new Doxie model that scans anywhere — no computer required — then sends scans wirelessly to devices and the cloud.

Doxie features a built-in battery and memory chip and scans everywhere you go, then pushes scans directly from the scanner to Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad, or Evernote. We reviewed the regular Doxie Go with OCR recently and before that, the Doxie Go when OCR wasn’t added yet.

The new model Doxie Go joins your Wi-Fi network and sends scans on the fly. On the go, Doxie creates its own ad-hoc network. There is a free Wi-Fi sync app on the App Store for wireless scanning direct to your iPhone or iPad.

Doxie Go + Wi-Fi includes wireless technology from Eye-Fi.
